Continuing to stand up for the unique needs and desires of Ward 4

by conducting regular outreach to understand community priorities, honoring the will of the voters and always being accessible to answer questions and provide assistance to residents who need help solving problems.

Infrastructure

Addressing infrastructure challenges created or made worse by growth.

Standing in support of smart, responsible, slower growth that proactively addresses impacts to our infrastructure, resources and community amenities.

Quality of Life/Environment

Exploring avenues for improving quality of life and environmental protections (e.g., open space expansion, and municipal/zoning code improvements).

I hope you are as excited as I am about the 2018 acquisition of the 57-acre Taylor Property.

Enhanced Process & Oversight

Improving processes related to Special Districts, to ensure they have, if approved by Council, well defined and understood scope of services and boundaries, open and fair elections, and other oversight and/or restrictions that comport with Colorado law and may be deemed necessary by City Council, the authorizing body.

Thought Leadership

Taking a detailed and thoughtful approach to legislation and enforcement. Continue work to ensure new Ordinances are clearly and concisely written and ensure that aspirational language included in plans is noted as not being enforceable to ensure there are no surprises.
